InnovaCare Health: Providing Quality Medical Care

August 10, 2017

It’s easy to say that healthcare companies don’t care about their patients or common people just can’t afford quality medical care. That’s taking the easy way out, and that helps no one. People need quality medical care and companies need to focus more on their patients.InnovaCare Health is a company that understands both sides of the argument. That’s why InnovaCare believes so heavily in building strong patient-provider relationships. If patients feel they can trust their healthcare providers, then everyone wins; patients get quality medical care and companies get great profits. But can it really be as simple as focusing on patient-provider relationships? If there’s one thing InnovaCare Health’s shown, it’s that strong relationships lead to healthier outcomes. Strong relationships also give companies better insight into patients’ needs. That’s what allows InnovaCare and its subsidiaries to build more effective and sustainable managed care models.

When it comes building new health models, there’s no better expert than Chief Administrative Officer Penelope Kokkinides. Penelope is not only an expert at developing and implementing health models, she’s also familiar with the way InnovaCare does things. She’s worked for InnovaCare, Inc. before; serving as COO. In 2015, she rejoined InnovaCare.Like most professional working in the medical industry, Kokkinides has a brilliant educational background. She holds one bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and three master’s degrees. Two of master’s came from Columbia University School of Public Health; one is in alcohol and substance abuse. Her most impressive accomplishment is her more than 20-year career in the managed care industry.

She’s worked with government programs like Medicaid and Medicare, and she’s overseen numerous health care operations. She’s even led the strategic direction of the managed care division. The one person at the company who might contribute more than Penelope Kokkinides is Dr. Richard Shinto. Dr. Shinto currently serves as President and CEO of the company. He’s even the CEO of the company’s subsidiaries in Puerto Rico. That promotion came after he made InnovaCare the biggest provider of managed care in the region. For over 20 years, Dr. Shinto moved from one health care institution to another. Previously, he would always serve as Chief Medical Officer or COO; but after joining Aveta Inc., he began serving as President and CEO.
